At Muskellunge Brewing Company, we love fish! We love their brilliant design as underwater creatures, and we love each species’ unique aesthetic. We also love beer, so we have named each of our beers in honor of a specific species of freshwater fish; each with a personality of its own.
Schwartzbier is a dark lager that originated in Germany. The malty flavor, which hints of raisin and chocolate, is balanced with Tettnang hops.

This beer was brewed in collaboration with the Canton City Fire Department for their 2022 Bicentennial Celebration. We used 100% Caramel 15 malt and more than 15 different hops, delivering a beer with a unique malt flavor and complex hop character.

American Eel is a common name for this American Brown Ale. The grain bill is anything but common. It's loaded with specialty malts, including Vienna malt. The unique maltiness and hop balance make this an excellent example of the style.

The Blue Badis is also known as the Chameleon Fish. This Obst (fruit) Gose could taste differently each time we make it. It’s a surprise. Our current offering is the Piña Colada Gose. The base is fermented with the perfect blend of pineapple and coconut to mimic our favorite Puerto Rican cocktail.
